Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
General
Yes, from starting the business in 2017 it was all about local and to be able to provide the components such as trailer and frames. We are a one stop shop of providing quality and importantly listening to your needs.
No. At Tiny Homes Perth we rather understand how you wish to live or the indended use of your Tiny Home to help design to your lifestyle or purpose.
We do though have the great option of looking back at the 70 Tiny Homes we have built to be inspired.
No, in actual fact we provide a free design consult to work through your needs, understanding is what allows us to work up a design together.
Each year we build a new display, from a 4.5m long through to an 8m Tiny Home, while these may not always be available to view we shall always have Tiny homes being built at various stages. These will give a great indication of materials and finish while helping with design ideas.
Tiny Homes Perth is a registered (WMI) World Manufacturer Identifier, this allows us to build our own trailers through a quality managment systyem. Rather than build the TinyHome around the trailer size we build the Trailer to to the required Tiny Home size. This includes our smaller 3500kg and larger 4500kg trailers.
As a (WMI) manufactuer our trailers are given a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), this allows the trailer to be registered throughout Australia.
There are plenty of posts going around suggesting a Tiny home is not intended to be shifted long distances, this is not a fact, while they are suitable for registration they can simply be towed with the right vehicle.
A Tiny Home can be used for many reasons, we have clients who live permanently, used as a weekender, travelling around Australia and those who create a business model for regional accommodation as an Air Bnb business.
After being in business for 7 years I can say we have had clients who have sold their Tiny Home for more than they paid for them to be built. It is not about supply and demand but about finding the right match of Tiny to owner, therefore a great investment.

No, this is complimentary. We provide the basics of a floor plan and elevation along with an estimate before getting into the finer detail.
From a personal consult or online correspondence there are a few key questions:
- The intended use for the Tiny Home
- The needs and wants in a design
- Materials and finishes
Yes, this is part of the design phase, the more we understand the better the outcome. From a simple list of needs and wants to 10 or so pictures of Tiny Home layouts that have caught your eye, this may be made up of a kitchen layout to a bathroom.
Once we have finalised the design and estimate we enter a Plan Preparation Agreement (PPA), this allow for the contracts and a full set of drawings to be prepared. While this is at a cost the amount shall be deducted from the contract deposit payable.
With contracts signed we shall embark on a prestart meeting to fill out the addenda of selections, further changes can be given to continue to refine the design.
