This year we took on board a project of turning an old ablution block into being mobile and off the grid. Our client purchased a simple ex mining ablution where Tiny Homes Perth added a trailer for it to be towed around the site for the perfect location. To complete the trailer modifications we installed a water tank, pressure pump and Hot water unit.
A drop through compost toilet completes the perfect off grid ablution block, while a solar panel and battery box power the compost fan and water pump.
With our client wanting the impact of the Tiny home itself to be the centre of attention, the client saw no need for a built in bathroom, hence the ablution block. The design of a large open space for the living, kitchenette and the maximisation of the sleeping quarters is the priority. A tiny home is a place for relaxation and tranquility.
